Community at Its Heart: The King’s Head in Deal & Martha Trust
For nearly two decades, The King’s Head in Deal has been a cornerstone of community support for Martha Trust. Their unwavering commitment has helped us raise vital funds and bring people together all in the name of making life better for individuals with profound disabilities.
Music4Martha Deal: A Celebration of Local Spirit
Since 2016, The King’s Head has proudly co-hosted Music4Martha Deal, a one-day community music held every August on The Square, alongside The Port Arms and Dunkerley’s of Deal. This beloved event transforms the heart of Deal into a vibrant festival of live music, laughter, and generosity—drawing crowds from across the region to support Martha Trust.
The King’s Head’s dedication to this event goes far beyond logistics. Their team helps create an atmosphere of joy and unity, reminding us all of the power of community when it comes together for a cause.
Teeing Off for a Cause
As keen golfers, The King’s Head team are regulars at our charity golf days, bringing their competitive spirit and camaraderie to the green. Not only do they participate, but they also one of our hole sponsors.
Their presence at these fundraisers adds a familiar and friendly face, encouraging others to get involved and showing that giving back can be as enjoyable as it is impactful.
Driven to Make a Difference
James Stiles from The King’s Head has taken part in an incredible seven Martha car challenges, including this year’s Monte Carlo Madness. His enthusiasm and dedication have helped raise thousands for our charity, all while building lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.
I am taking part in this year’s Monte Carlo Madness because not only is it great fun and a bit of a challenge but also gives us a chance to personally raise money for such a great local charity. There is a real sense of camaraderie on Martha’s car challenges—it’s a really fun experience!
