Gift Aid is simply a way for Martha Trust to claim back the tax you’ve already paid on your donation. So if you’re a UK taxpayer by Gift Aiding your donation it is worth 25% more. And it doesn’t cost you a penny extra.

To make it even easier, you can fill in our Gift Aid declaration form, allowing us to claim Gift Aid not only on any future donations you might make, but on any gifts you may have donated over the past four years! Or simply tick Gift Aid when you make a donation online.
The only condition with Gift Aid is that you have to have paid enough Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each year at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities and Community Amateur Sports clubs (CASCs) that you donate to will reclaim on the gifts you make each tax year.
